A concise, well-researched book Feb 22, 2012
By Jen090909 In this book, Fox discusses what qualities drinking water should have. He gives you a few simple measures for evaluating the quality of drinking water, both bottled water and tap water. I was able to use the information presented in this short book to evaluate my city's tap water just by looking at the water quality report on the city website. I can also now determine which bottled waters are worth the price (if you want to know, I found that Fiji, Evian, and Perrier are good ones).
Fox has done his research, and he presents it in concise and simple language. This was just the book I was looking for to help me figure out what water to drink. You'll still have to do some work on your own to find out if your water is good to drink, but at least you'll know what to look for!
I highly recommend this book. I know of no other like it.

By Ed Johnson We in the US suffer greatly from the Great Fluoride Hoax...and we need this information!!
I just read an article entitled "Cancer & Fluoridation" at [...]. I will quote from it: It reports that "Dr Dean Burk, who has spent more than fifty years in cancer research, mainly at the National Cancer Institute states: 'More people have died in the last thirty years from cancer connected with fluoridation than all the military deaths in the entire history of the United States.'"
"One tenth of all cancer deaths in this country," Dr. Burk states, can be shown to be linked to foundation of public drinking water.' That's 40,000 extra cancer deaths a year. It's ten times the number who die from asbestos induced cancer and exceeds deaths from breast cancer. Yet, 40% of the people in the U.S. continue to drink fluoridated water."
"If all these problems can arise from too much fluoride, why do we have artificial fluoridation? Why do we add sodium fluoride to our drinking water?" Worldwide, there Is very little fluoridation! In fact, many countries that previously adopted fluoridation have stopped. A few examples: Germany has no Fluoridation. It was discontinued in 1971 for health and legal reasons after eighteen years of experiments. Spain has no fluoridation. It is forbidden by law. France has no Fluoridation It was never considered essential to good health. Sweden has no fluoridation. It is forbidden by law...It was discontinued in 1969 after a ten year experimental program."
"The World Health Organization (WHO) was asked by the Swedish government to produce evidence to support its earlier claim that fluoridation was safe. No evidence was produced. [The British] Parliament declared fluoridation illegal in November of 1971."
Far too many US Municipalities have bought into the Great Fluoride Hoax, and have added fluoride to their water, including San Antonio, Texas, where I live. I have a whole house unit that removed all chlorine from every tap. Recently I had a whole house fluoride filter installed at our home, which uses bone char. Huge amounts of chlorine and fluoride are inhaled and consumed through the skin, topically, in our daily showers, contributing to the huge rise in breast cancer in the US, with even teenagers and 12 year olds getting breast cancer.
I highly recommend this book.
