 Be aware the picture does not represent the product. Nov 10, 2010

I'm still not even sure I got what I was suppose to. I got this filter for my Jupiter Melody.
No where on the filter or the box does it say anything about Tourmaline.
Be careful, the second picture shows at the top that it's a picture of 0.1Micron Biostone NOT 0.01Micron Biostone. The 0.01Micron filter has a (white looking) Ultra Fine Filter in the top section not a (black looking) Silver Activated Carbon. The one I received says Calcium where it should read Tourmaline. I had to use it anyway... I'll probably cut it open when it's used up and we'll see then...
(Also a lot of other websites seem to have inaccurate filter pictures too...)

We bought a new Orion Alkaline Water ionizer and used the original filter it came with. We didn't realize you were NOT supposed to run hot water through the alkaline water machine, as it would damage the filter, so we wore out our original filter as a result, without knowing it. So, even though the indicator on the ionizer machine said we still had time left on our original filter, our water started tasting different (hard, not smooth, with a slight taste).
Then we bought this replacement filter through Amazon and it made all the difference. It was like our ionizer machine was back to new again. Our water tastes clean, smooth and fresh again, and our bodies feel great after drinking it. You can really taste the difference with a new filter. So now, we get a new filter anytime the water starts to taste even slightly different.
It's a great filter. Just remember, do not run hot water through it, or else it will shorten it's life.

I ordered this filter and got IonLife filter instead. Some sellers are very deceitful. They will tell you it worked the same as Jupiter Biostone Filter. It's not true and it would not even fit right. Look at the seller's rating before purchase.

I have been using this brand of filter for about 6 years now I can tell you that this filter really works. I have been using this type of filter in my Melody Jupiter water ionizer and it really removes any impurities in city water. Also the fact that I do not need to spend money to buy bottled water is a plus.

I ordered this as a cheaper alternative to the one I usually purchased from the water purifier manufacturer.
Exactly the same, package and all. great performance. Save a few bucks and order from Amazon.
