In The Miracle of Water, Dr. Emoto demonstrates how water's unique role in transporting the natural vibration of these words can help you welcome change and live a more positive and happy life. Dr. Emoto also explores the significance of words and language, their origins, and their impact on water. He introduces and explains the key concept of resonance -- the vehicle through which life-force energy is transmitted. From this knowledge, he draws out lessons that we can apply to our lives to reap the benefits of positive resonance, including more harmonious relationships, restored health, and improved communications. This thoughtful book includes new and extraordinary water-crystal photographs that provide convincing reasons for all of us to choose positive words and strive for perfect resonance for a more healthy, peaceful, and happy life. | | | |

'Love and Gratitude' for Water Jul 22, 2007
By Rose Glavas `The Miracle of Water' is well presented as an A5 size pretty looking book. Pretty, perhaps not doing it justice! Looking into this title is like examining a body of still water.... it runs deep.
Masaru Emoto has written several other titles examining water including `The Secret Life of Water', `The True Power of Water', `The Hidden Messages in Water', and `Messages from Water, volumes I-III'. After reading this current book, I would love to have a look at his others.
This title looks at the relationship between words and water... I admit that at first this didn't sound all that interesting to me. That is until I saw the effects of various words and phrases on the development of water crystals captured in the fabulous photography presented in this book. How can words affect water? That is the first thing I though of when looking at the photographs: Emoto presents his theory on how language has developed and in turn how this affects the crystals within water. He presents many other ideas clearly and in an easy to understand way that will get you looking at your next glass of water in a very different way than you have in the past.
`The Miracle of Water' is more than just about the water in and around you. It also gives you good reason to stop and think about the type of language is used on an everyday basis, and it's effect not only on your drinking water but also on the people around you. My favourite chapter was `Understanding Vibration and Resonance' which goes into explaining how our words vibrate and resonate between ourselves and others.
As well as the effects of words on water, this title touches on the environment that water is surrounded by. For example the water crystals shown on page 98 have been left exposed to various environments and the effects clearly shown by the photographs. Water exposed to the electromagnetic field of a mobile phone, left sitting in front of a television for four hours, and water left sitting in front of a computer for four hours are some examples of different environments. The results are definitely thought-provoking.
In summary, although presented and written in a deceptively modest way, `The Miracle of Water' is a real eye-opener and presents ideas that are thought-provoking. If you are interested in making a difference to not only yourself, but others as well (not to mention the world), then this is a must read for you.

Amazing! Aug 27, 2009
By Robynn I loved this book. It is incredibly interesting. It piques the imagination and makes you ask if this is real then what? This book makes you think and think. The pictures are amazing. The content is mind blowing!
There is an intention rice experiment in this book that helps you to wrap your head around the miracle in water that a lot of people have recreated on YouTube. The intentions, the words with their intentions are transfered into the water which the cooked rice is full of the water. And depending on the words the rice either rots into a gross liquid or hairy mess or it stays mostly white even fluffy for a very long time.

Just search rice experiment and you will find more. I did the experiment myself many times with many different words. My results were life changing. The jars that stayed white had one thing in common they either gave credit to God, Thanks to God, passage from the bible John 3:16 For God so loved the world, Forgiveness.
The jars that rotted had selfish and cruel words and statements written on them. Cuss words and the like. My daughter and I put to the test cuss words said in a bad way and the same word said meaning a good thing. They both rotted black very quickly. That turned her thinking around quickly and she realized that she needed to not be saying any cuss words around her new baby. She realized that just because the words are acceptable in todays society that does not make them acceptable and maybe there really is old wisdom in not speaking them ever!!
Prior to the experiment I was just an old fuddy duddy living in a time gone by.
Great book definitely worth purchasing.
January 2012. It has been over 2 years since I wrote the above review. I just came across the old jars of rice put away in a box in a closet. The jars of rice strangely did not continue to mold and become equally gross. The really gross ones are the same and the white ones are the same. No more additional molding has continued in the jars of rice. I would have thought that after awhile all the rice would have molded but it didn't. Very interesting!!

I so admire Dr. Emoto and his outstanding dedication to helping us to understand the importance of Water as a living breathing entity to be loved and respected AND MOST DEFINITELY NOT TO BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED! His books have stretched me intellectually, physically, emotionally and spiritually. THANK YOU, Dr. Emoto, for teaching me to truly appreciate the water that cleanses my body and soul.
Water book Mar 06, 2012
By painnters Very insightful book! It's the type of reading material that a person drawn to alternative therapy/treatment would likely pick up & read. But, the findings of water crystal formations are scientifically researched & founded, so could be suitable for nearly anyone. My chiropractor had a copy in her front waiting room & I never was able to finish reading it, so I bought my own copy!

By Aqualyn I heard a keynote speaker review this book and was transfixed by the information it revealed. Everyone needs to read this book if we are to protect our water supplies.....
