A Good Place to Start Nov 18, 2009
By Gary Sandstrom I practice and teach qigong, and have read a dozen or so of the books recommended by my teachers, and I recommend "Wood Becomes Water" to my students as a first read on the subject of Traditional Chinese Medicine. TCM can quickly become complicated, but this book keeps things simple and clear and still gives a feel for the breadth and depth of the subject.

Wood becomes Water Aug 06, 2007

"bookworm Lil"
This book is excellent for anyone starting to learn any aspect of Chinese healing or astrology. Everything is interconnected and this book expands that horizon. This should be a text book for a curriculum of any "Chinese" course. I have had no previous teachings of Chinese culture and this book explains it all without being too political
